As a Japanese New Year starts, what better to commemorate this joyful celebration than to learn how to prepare one of the basic dishes from which Japan’s culinary art is known worldwide: OMUSUBI. Our nutrition specialist Rumi sensei came to visit PAL’s facilities with materials prepared (for different age groups) to guide the children through what was an entertaining cooking class! It was with the didactic approach that Rumi sensei had that every child nurtured herself with the wonders of rice and how many things can be done with it if we put our creativity into it. We are looking forward for the next delicious and fun class!
