Rumi sensei came to teach us about different sorts of ‘Apples’ and where they came from in Japan today. We had a variety of apples from several prefectures. Each apple has distinct characteristics, which we were able to see. We peeled the apple, sliced it in half, and counted the seeds! While doing the task, we were singing a song about Apple. Rumi sensei prepared an apple for us to eat, and we all enjoyed it! It was really delicious! We wanted more, but we had to contain ourselves so as not to ruin our lunch… yet we still wanted more! Thank you, Rumi sensei.
