Today was a fun rainy day that did not stop us from having our outdoor water play. We learned about ‘hot’ and ‘cold’ as the children felt the water and ice we prepared for them. They also learned how to say warm instead of hot when feeling the warm water in the tub. They were fascinated by how cold the ice in their hands were and how it melted when they added warm water in the bucket of ice.
